(Poem)

STASIS.

third and corrected draft -- additions are in bold print

“[a] state of static balance or equilibrium: STAGNATION.”
Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary

INTRODUCTION: A SEA OF CONFUSION.

On or about July 11, 2008, the non-Saudi-financed or owned Arab press referred to a story in the Israeli daily Haaretz. Israeli officials, to show off the Olmert government as close to the Saudis (most likely), leaked information to the Israeli daily that officials of “an Arab country” had met with Israeli officials. The Arab officials, Haaretz reported, informed the Israeli that the “Arab country” would not oppose an Israeli attack on Iran. That said Arab country was concerned about the spread of Iranian influence among the Shias of the various Arab states. In other words, these “Arab officials”, likely Saudi, were crying on Israel’s shoulder.

But crying on Israel’s shoulder is an act. Because any analyst with a modicum of sense knows that Israel is useless when it comes to Iran -- in spite of all the fighter jets it likely has spread across the Arab Gulf, Kurdistan, and Iraq with the help of the harmful idiots -- and harmful when an Arab country reveals its closeness to it. (Unless you’re little and super-rich Qatar, nearly the only other source of generous financing for the Arab press, or the UAE which, along with Qatar, likely goes blind on so much that goes on financially in exchange for peaceful coexistence with so many.) Why would the Arab country’s officials cry on Israel’s shoulder? In the confusion of shifting power relations and lagging and deficient analysis, crying is meant to assure that Israel would think it is so close to that country that Israel would refrain from unleashing its people in the US against the “Arab country” and its rich princes. Don’t you forget it: Saudi Arabia’s ruling elite got a taste of what Israel’s diaspora in the US can do to it when the right wing boys of that diaspora took over the Pentagon (the Defense Policy Board) and threatened to break up the Kingdom. Think of what they can do if they go after the wealth of the King, the Crown Prince, and the entire extended family.

Oh well, as if crying on the Israelis’ shoulder would really help that Arab country. Let’s not forget: it’s thanks in good part to Israel and its people in the country of the harmful idiots that these Arab regimes now have to fear Iranian power.

My guess, if I have to venture one, is that one of the officials who cried on Israel's shoulder was Prince Bandar. He likely is concerned about the Justice Department's investigation of the corrupt practices at BAE Systems, including the alleged payment to him of $ 2 bn. in kickbacks for the $50-$80 bn. Yamama arms deal between Saudi Arabia and Britain. He thinks, as do most Arabs, that Jewish political power in the country of the harmful idiots is paramount, and that this power is found in both presidential campaigns. Accordingly, his hope (and that of his father, the Crown Prince) would be that Israel would instruct its people to scuttle the Justice Department's BAE Systems' investigation so not to embarrass the Crown Prince and possibly forfeit his chances at becoming King -- or the chances of Prince Bandar.

Right around the same time, various Arab news sources said that Israel had stationed fighter planes in Iraq. Later, on or about 7/19/08, the Palestinian Hezbollah e-publication, al-Manar, said that Israel already had fighter planes in Iraq, in the Arab Gulf countries, in Iraqi Kurdistan, and in US bases in Turkey.

I can tell you a lot more that, without a framework, would lose you in a sea of meaningless details. Right? You need a framework.

THE FRAMEWORK: THE AXIS OF REACTION (THE HARMFUL IDIOTS/ISRAEL/SAUDI ARABIA) WANTS TO DEFEAT IRAN.

How’s one to make sense of the news? You can make sense of the news when you come to terms with the fact that a lot of what the axis of the harmful idiots(troops and global power)/Israel (advice to the harmful idiots’ establishment)/Saudi Arabia (money to buy out people) is doing is meant to defeat the Islamic Republic. What follows is written with that framework in mind.

FIRST: IRAQ.

Let’s look at Iraq, without all the bullshit about the surge. What we have are two states and a motley of tribes:

OO one Shia state, beholden to Iran (the Badr-Dawa state);

OO one Kurdish state, beholden to itself but willing to accommodate the Israeli-harmful idiots symbiotic alliance on nearly anything, so long as the process for the formation of a nouveau-and-greater-Kurdish Israel is furthered;

OO and Arab Sunni tribes beholden to the harmful idiots and likely to Saudi Arabia and Jordan, both countries having helped out in returning the Arab Sunnis to a backward tribal state.

The Shia State has a powerful and populist figure monitoring its every move: Sadr; the Sunni: the young Islamists.

THE KEY TO THE FRAMEWORK: THE ILLUSION THAT THE AXIS OF REACTION (HARMFUL IDIOTS/ISRAEL/SAUDI ARABIA) CAN STEAL THE BADR/DAWA STATE AWAY FROM IRAN.

The harmful idiocy here is that the harmful idiots are building their policy in Iraq and the region on the illusion that they and their Arab Gulf adjutants can steal the Badr-Dawa Shia state away from Iran. I can return to the Basra events that pitted the Badr/Dawa army against the Mahdi and cull out something Robert Gates had said which freaked me out. But it’s late at night and I’m sleepy, so I’m not in a mood to search for his exact words. Gates said something along the following lines: the Iraqi government (he meant the Badr/Dawa Shia state) now knows that Iran is not its friend. I couldn’t believe my eyes. We’re building a state and training its army on the shaky and harmfully-idiotic presumption that we can steal that state away from Iran? What the hell?

THE HARMFULLY IDIOTIC PLAN: HOW TO STEAL THE BADR/DAWA STATE AWAY FROM IRAN.

1. The Plan: The Gulf Trillionaires.

Not that the harmful idiots don’t have a “plan” to steal that state away from Iran. They do. But they're acting under the illusion (yet again) that if their Gulf trillionaire adjutants (The GCC countries) open up embassies -- then, hell, Iraq will once again become Arab, and therefore not Persian. Ask the September 11 Queen. She knows that anything Arab is good because it stands against anything Persian. What sophomore taught her that? Where do these people come from?

1a. The Gulf Trillionaires.

For one, the Gulf trillionaires are useless because they’re no (once) Arab Iraq and their “armies” are no Iraqi army under the late Saddam Hussein. You remember him: the one who got some good old Evangelical-Jewish lynching? The one who, but for his armies, the Islamic Republic would’ve been organizing the hajj to Mecca and Medina. The one who the Israelis and their right-wing American Jews wanted dead and got what they wanted.

The Gulf countries’ intelligence services? Give me a break. My suspicion is that the only active and daring functionaries they have to conduct operations in Iraq are contract-mercenaries, either British and other Western and white South African and such other mercenaries -- who would stick out like a sore thumb in Iraq-- or other Arabs. Iranian intelligence should pick those one by one as my cat-in-residence picks her helpless toy mice. My recent trip to the UAE, and my conversations with the Indians and Pakistanis who run nearly everything there, thankfully refreshed my memory about the Gulf Arabs. They’re too rich! You don’t put your life on the line when you’re filthy rich! For what? For some royal family that cares only about reproducing and feasting? Give me a break. (I apologize to all; but I need to make the point so that we don’t continue to jump from one illusion to the next.)

2. The Plan: Turkey.

Okay. We can use Turkey, can’t we, to balance Iran inside Iraq. Can’t we? So reason the “thinking” men and women of the harmful idiots. We’ll be more specific: we’ll use the Justice and Development Party (AKP). “What a wonderful brand of moderate Islamism that is” tell us our knowledgeable colonialist advisers, the Israelis. The AKP needs us because we can help it against our and the Israelis’ Turkish proxies -- the generals and former generals who’ve taken on the role of protectors of secularism. Yes, we can line up our policy away from the military and into the camp of modern Islamism, the AKP, all to obtain its help. We want the AKP to define a new course for the Arabs we fucked. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s Islamist Prime Minister, picks up on the hint. He needs to return the favor and assure that the harmful idots would remain in his camp. He rushes over to Baghdad on or about 7/11/09 and signs with Maliki a “strategic partnership” agreement to form a Higher Council for Strategic Cooperation.

You see, once again, the harmful idiots are sure they can nab the Badr/Dawa state. And they’re willing to bet Turkey on that illusion. Engage Turkey with the Sunni tribes -- the Sahwas. The pressure on the harmful idiots is domestic. The U.S. military wants its troops availabble for other contingencies and the US public wants its government to pay attention to the home front. But once the American public forgets its misery, one that’s borne out of eight years of little management of anything by the federal government, just weight-lifting and kiss-and-hug with Israel, and longer failure to manage by the Federal Reserve. Once that public forgets those years, then we shall bomb Iran into the stone age. Then Iraq and its oil would be ours. (Whatever that means.) Ha!

As a sideline, Erdogan states from Iraq that he received a commitment from one of the two nouveau-Israel leaders, the opportunists’ opportunist, Jalal Talabani, and from Maliki (as if he matters in Kurdistan) to repress the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).

The harmful idiots know that our armed forces are stretched to the limit. Withdrawal of troops is gonna happen. The Obama/Maliki plan would be faster than McCain/Lieberman’s. (Forget the one hundred years' thing.) That’s all. It’s all about the speed of withdrawal and how many we leave behind before we return to bomb the Islamic Republic back to the stone age. If we withdraw, “reason” the harmful idiots, even if only thin out our troops in Iraq, the Arab Sunnis might head Iran’s way. Sunni Turkey and the Gulf adjutants, the harmful idiots would hope, would help the smaller number of US troops left in Iraq with the Arab Sunni tribes. Really? And how? [Correction: the harmful idiots seem to prefer a thinning out of the troops but continued and eternal presence in bases in Iraq. Even former Central Command (CENTCOM) commander William Fallon, who was pushed out of his position by the Bush people, and therefore is more level-headed than others, wants access to military bases. (New York times op.ed. article on July 20.) Fallon likly is reflecting -- credibly -- the point of view of the U.S. armed forces about Iraq.]

2.a Turkey.

So the harmful idiots know Turkey is Sunni. The Iraqi Arab Sunnis are Sunni too. It matches. ALRIGHT! Okay? Once we thin out the troops in Iraq, these Arab Iraqi Sunnis might start to head Iran’s way. So we need to bring in ...let me think: yeaaaaah: TURKEY! Hey, it’s Sunni right?

By now Turkey should’ve given up on becoming part of the EU exactly because it is Sunni. Turn around and re-integrate it with the Arab Sunnis in that Greater Middle East AKA the New Middle East AKA the Union for the Mediterranean. And don’t you worry about the Iraqi Kurds. Talabani/Barazani Inc. will allow Turkish intelligence operatives through Iraqi Kurdistan and spread them among the tribal Sahwas to avoid the disintegration of these once US troops are thinned out. Okay, so you need to send the Turks to Arabic schools. Hurry up. Send them to that dear Israel and have Mosad teach them Arabic. (They’ll turn them into spies for Israel; but that’s a cost to pay.) Isghraiil (Israel) will tell you how to do it.

(Note: Anything more than Turkish intelligence operatives --e.g., troops --going through Iraqi Kurdistan into Iraq should risk a Kurdish civil war.)

What a plan. Really. Russia, China, and Iran are too stupid to pass money on to the PKK. Yes they are. You bet they are. And to the Kurdish community in southeastern Turkey. Yeah. Everyone else is stupid and the harmful idiots and their Israeli advisers are smart.

3. The Plan: Bandar bin Sultan and the Saudi Secret Government.

A third tool of the harmful idiots is Mr. Bandar bin Sultan. He taught the harmful idiots how to ignite a Sunni fervor across the Arab World to dam the Shias, so to speak. He’s easy. The harmful idiots and the Israelis have him by the balls. The harmful idiots can pursue with elan the BAE Systems’ investigation. The Israelis, the spies they and their proxies are, must have terrific evidence about his likely visits to Israel and other damning evidence. These guys spy on everyone. So he has to do right by the harmful idiots including firing up the Sunni-Shia divide.

Only that Saudi Arabia itself has Shias. And Bahrain is majority Shia. And Kuwait and the UAE have substantial Shia communities. Not to mention that once the money of Saudi intelligence is out of the coffers and paid to those who are tasked to ignite the Sunni-Shia tension, that money can do almost anything else. Like finance Sunni extremist groups whose agenda is more about Saudi Arabia and terror against the US than about the Shias. (Remember Osama bin Laden?) Especially that it’d not be that difficult to infiltrate the Sunni-solidarity groups Mr. Bandar and Saudi intelligence are busy creating. Get it? If you don’t, do enroll in an Arabic language school in Turkey or Isghraiil.

4. The Plan: Use Saudi Money to buy up the Russians Away From Iran.

Oh yeah. I forgot. Dispatch Bandar to Russia and offer to buy it out. (See prior post.) Too little too late. Why? Because the harmful idiots have printed so much money, went to “war” without taxation -- where interpreters are making $180,000, and “experts” are making so much more -- because “war” for the harmful idiots is a racket; and instead of taxing for war you give your friends a huge tax cut -- why, hell! Something’s got to give. Oil prices go through the roof and Russia -- the state -- is rich. as a result. Doesn’t need Bandar’s money.

5. The Plan: Squeeze Russia in Europe.

Okay, so we squeeze the Russians in Europe by erecting a useless (in the end) missile defense shield. Russia stirs up trouble in Georgia and the Ukraine. Okay, can’t we escalate by reviving the Chechneya civil war? Maybe yes, maybe no. Russia can retaliate in Afghanistan. What does it take to dispatch money to the Taliban, a lot of it? Just as we and the Saudis had dispatched money and weapons to the Afghani “freedom fighters” to force the Soviets out. And, oh yeah, we got Osama bin Laden as a bonus. The gem of the second half of the (last)century. Nice going. We’re trying to check them and change oil and natural gas pipeline routes away from their intended countries to scuttle an increase in their influence -- Iran, Russia, and China. And they’re trying to do the same.

With one difference: Russia and China don’t have troops tied down in foreign lands, with a finger in the holes of two dams, Iraq and Afghanistan, which should burst sooner or later. Russia and China have remained flexible. They fight with other people. Just as once we did when we had Saddam Hussein and a modern Arab army defeat the Islamic Republic. But hey: right wing Jews know best. Lynch the Arab President. Hang him high so that all know Isghraiiil (Israel) is tops. That bad guy didn’t like Isghraiil. How dare he? Define US foreign policy through Israeli eyes.

6. The Plan: Use Saad al-Hariri to Spread Swiss Bank Accounts All Around.

Oh, I nearly forgot. Here’s one for the books. Now that he’s no longer useful in Lebanon, Saudi intelligence dispatches Saad al-Hariri to ... Baghdad. The man just got his ass kicked along with Jumblatt ben Yehuda ben Isghraiil. Hezbollah didn’t murder them just because it didn’t want to turn them into “martyrs.” (That smart Hezbollah; can’t we pay them to have the September 11 Queen and Eliott Abrams attend one of their schools?) So, what’s Hariri -- an extension of Saudi intelligence in Lebanon -- doing in Baghdad?

Okay, you give up. Well, he’s gone there likely with a bunch of secret numbered Swiss bank accounts. Here, Mr. Adel Abdel Mahdi -- here’s a number at some Swiss bank. The number entitles you to $ 40 million . (Actually, likely it's much less. The Saudis have gotten mighty cheap.) Oh, I’m so sorry, you wanted Euros instead. So does everyone. I should’ve known. Those damn Bandar men at Saudi intelligence. Idiots! Don’t they know people want Euros and not toilet paper money?

You didn’t get it? Com’on: Saudi intelligence has dispatched Saad to Baghdad likely to complement the harmful idiots’ policy of buying out the Iraqi Shia state. His job is to buy it out as iindiviuals. Take thirty secret numbered bank accounts and spread them about to targeted politicians. Will it work? Expect assassinations a la Lebanon if any signs emerge that these officials, especially the Shia, are on the Saudi payroll.

(It likely had worked with Putin’s team since Russia, after Saad’s visit to Moscow, did not use its veto at the UN Security Council when the latter voted to establish the international tribunal to investigate and try those who assassinated Saad’s father. But Mr. Putin himself couldn’t have accepted Saudi money. I need to be careful.)

7. The Plan: Split Syria Off From Iran.

Okay, we split Syria off and away from Iran. We hand it Lebanon -- which many Lebanese don’t mind they have been stung way too many times -- stabbed in the back, really -- by the harmful idiots and Isghraiiil. We have our little man Sarkozi who without our assistance and that of Israel couldn’t get laid or have an erection -- we’ll have him bring Syria out of its isolation. And maybe, just maybe, we can steal it away from Iran.

Some in Iran aren’t happy with that. Just some. Like the Editor-in-Chief of the conservative Kihan. But that’s okay -- it’s a message no more the Iranians are sending to Syria not to overdo it in its flirtation with little Sarkozi and beloved Isghraiil. We all know we have to pipe things down in Iraq so that the harmful idiots can get the hell out. So it’s okay if Syria and Iran take a break in Iraq. Afghanistan is doing the job for us, right? Since the key to this entire thing is domestic American politics -- and these Americans will not do the right thing unless they lose troops. And they are losing troops in Afghanistan. And they have a limited number of troops because they don’t dare enact the draft. They move troops from Iraq to Afghanistan; our influence increases in Iraq. Win, win.

And now they’re bankrupt.

IRAN RESPONDS.

For now we need to stick to the Shia realm. Syria can at times be uncomfortable with that. What with Arab nationalism and all. So we’ll give Syria a break. In the meanwhile, we can do all sorts of things to assure that the Badr/Dawa Shia state is not bought out by the harmful idiots and Bandar bin BAE Systems. We can continue to highlight our dislike for Isghraiil. But the Badr/Dawa people don’t care about that. Though they do care about the Shia realm. Okay. So we need many martyrs in Bahrain, Shias shot by a motley of non-Bahraini Arab Sunnis hired and naturalized by the minority Sunni government. And Kuwait, don’t spare Kuwait. The Sunni-Shia tension Bandar and the harmful idiots have been aiming for is great for us. It’ll do wonders to buttress our Shia realm and assure that the Badr/Dawa state remains faithful to its origins -- Iranian. Let’s involve the Gulf states. Let us, and blame it (justifiably) on Bandar bin Sultan.

The harmful idiots freak out at the thought. They can’t be putting out fires all over the place. So they have the Speaker of Kuwait’s Parliament, Mr. Jasim al-Khurafi, on or about July 13, accuse the United States (!) And other Western countries of dealing with Iran’s nuclear program in an unacceptably humiliating manner. Darn! He reminded all that Israel too has a nuclear program. Did he do it independently of the harmful idiots? I doubt it. The harmful idiots own Kuwait. They’ve used it as a launchpad to entrap Saddam Hussein, and later to entrap their own US Congress, and yet later to invade and entrap us all. Likely al-Khurafi’s statement is choreographed by the harmful idiots. They’re worried about what Iran can do in Kuwait, an essential base for them.

Iran can go on eating away at the fringes of Saudi Arabia. Yemen’s members of the armed forces from the south, who had been forced to retire, had begun turmoil to get their pension payments. Then suddenly the turmoil quieted. Likely the harmful idiots and the Saudis have picked up the tab. But things could change. (I’m not even gonna get into the subject of Saada.)

Conclusion: it’s not that bad. Defeats and failures are liberating. Time to come back home and tend to our garden.

SAUDI ARABIA TO IRAN: WE SHALL HANG YOU!

a draft on the move. Rough.

Exciting times ahead:

Kommersant.com, a Russian newspaper, featured an article on July 15 titled “The Arab Seduction” by Alexander Gabuev.

Check it out. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia seems intent on paying off the Russians to drop Iran as a client.

SUMMER COMEDY:WWW.HARRYWESSEL.COM.

No I’m not talking about the acrobatics by Israel and Iran or the proxy wars among intelligence services in Lebanon and Syria, in Yemen, in Pakistan and Afghanistan, in Iraq. (I expect the latter to get started and heighten if the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait --all arms of U.S. intelligence and the harmful idiots -- open up the promised embassies.)

No. It’s about Harry Wessel: a capital defense attorney, a comedy inspired by my practice as a defense attorney in the District of Columbia.

You can find the comedy at www.HarryWessel.com

I sent this comedy only to one New York agent. She said the following: “It’s a funny and biting satire, to be sure, but there’s not enough narrative or connective tissue bringing together the work as a whole.” She may be right. My intent was to let the reader do the connecting. I can’t go back and do connective tissue work. Once it’s written, it’s over for me.

But I will in due time edit and correct the misspellings.

Enjoy.

DR. MATROUK AL-FALEH.

ON THE TRIBALIZATION OF THE ARAB SUNNIS BY THE US-ISRAEL-SAUDI ARABIA AXIS AND HOW LIBERAL AMERICA WILL USHER CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY INTO SAUDI ARABIA.

For background, please google: Dr. Matrouk al-Faleh.

second rough draft.

F i c t i o n a l i z e d: this article is the product of a discussion by three Arab-Americans.

00 In life, thankfully, there are bulwarks against mass hysteria and harmful government campaigns and blind and racist policies of various kinds. Dr. Matrouk al-Faleh is one such bulwark. As an Arab nationalist, a political prisoner stewing in jail in Saudi Arabia, with torture always a possibility, Dr. al-Faleh’s Arab nationalism is a bulwark against the harmfully idiotic policy of the Saudi secret government. That government is working directly with the harmful idiots, and with the Israelis, directly and likely through Jordanian intelligence, to disintegrate the Arab World into tribes.

Dr. al-Faleh has committed no crime whatsoever.

But for concern for Dr. al-Faleh, all would be well since the idiots in Saudi Arabia’s government are doing the work for many in the Arab Street, both elite and masses. The Arab Street will watch with glee as the Arab governments, specially the Saudi, will not know what will hit them. It’ll hit them so hard that they’ll twirl about for generations. The camp of the Jewish Right and its allies (the “neocons”) may have been on point about Saudi Arabia -- that it is the nut to crack -- though it was dead wrong on Iraq. Still, Iraq took place anyway. For that camp and its liberals, Iraq is only the beginning. Saudi Arabia is next. As Bald Samson put it: it's good to be in Iraq. It's good for America's liberal camp, too, to be so close to Saudi Arabia.

The Jewish Right and its liberals and likely a majority within the Israel-obsessed American Jewish community seem to be on board for a continued US military campaign in the Arab World. Joseph Lieberman, the right-wing Israel-obsessed U.S. Senator from Connecticut, represents a large swath of these. He isn’t leaving John McCain’s side for a moment. Did you see his photo with McCain in Mexico in the Post this past Friday?

00 I did. Significance?

00 Lieberman is Israel’s man, the child of its mobilized diaspora. Israel wants us there, in Iraq, to stay, and in the rest of the Arab World. Israel hopes that through us -- armed forces and resources -- it’ll preserve its so called Jewish identity.

00 How will that work? The Palestinians will multiply as all poor people do.

00 It’s not about identity. It’s about power . "Jewish identity" are code words. Israel wants to lord over the Arabs, all of them, to be the center. To use the Zionist ideology for the maintenance of a network that would reward friends, punish enemies, and preserve its alleged superiority. To push through into each and every corner of the Arab World, to make each and every Arab “accept” Israel -- a code word for accepting the idea that Israel is superior to Arabs, and therefore needed by them, and the idea that a Palestinian state is unnecessary. (The Israelis, through the harmful idiots and directly in Kurdistan, already are in the heart of the Arab World -- once Arab Iraq.)

00 They’re crazy.

00 Such is power, especially when they have succeeded at putting American armed forces to use.

00 What resources of ours will they use?

00 For one, they’ve already put to service our greatest resource: the armed forces. They were able to match Israel’s ambitions with that of the grabbing oil administration and the larger Pentagon goal of gaining a strategic advantage against China and Europe without having to raise taxes at home. (See prior posts.) That poor Iraq; that poor Arab World. They still don’t appreciate what hit them. They don’t understand that we in the United States produce so little. That our chief product is our military, and it is our chief export. The result of multinational corporations carrying the day and moving manufacturing away from the American heartland. Israel, through the American Jewish Right and a large swath of the American Jewish community, has marshaled that resource to its advantage, as it had perceived it. It got defeated because its drive for power and superiority is a blind drive; because the harmful idiots are idiots; but mostly because of Iran.

But now Israel has bounced back. Using Jordanian intelligence and the secret government of Saudi Arabia, Israel has discovered that the Arabs can be made to revert to a state of tribalism -- e.g., the sahwas. Iran is only a subterfuge for the Israelis. The real goal is the Arab World. The goal is to teach the Americans how to tame that World by a divide-and-conquer policy that would revert that World to tribes. For that they have recruited Jordanian and Saudi intelligence.

00 Any other resources?

00 Yes. A lot more. Israel likely has US intelligence on its side, in full. The possibility -- distinct -- that the CIA is engaged in a smear campaign against the September 11 Queen because she’s now likely perceived as “pro Arab.” The funding and support of the Syrian Muslim Brothers in the hope of destabilizing the Syrian government, the last Arab outpost of secularism. The disastrous Beirut campaign where the consortium of intelligence services -- harmful idiot, Saudi, Israeli, and Jordanian -- had this incredibly moronic and harmful plan to flood Beirut with hundreds of agents to attack Hezbollah’s rear lines. All of this tells me that they have U.S. intelligence in their pocket.

00 Where are they heading with this?

00 It’s about power, so it’s blind. It’ll head likely in a direction that they themselves can’t predict or control. They’re doing anything they can to keep US troops in Iraq, with bases, for the long haul. And it won’t end here. If Obama is elected the liberal wing of that imperial pillar -- the large swath of Israel’s diaspora that’s mobilized and put to use -- should take over. The Saudi government, the patsies they are, don’t understand what’ll hit them. The liberals will unleash an army of civil rights and human rights organizations against them. It doesn’t matter that the Saudi secret government is in full alliance with Israel; and that, according to rumors, that secret government had paid Israel for the 2006 military campaign on Lebanon, The Saudi secret government is made up of fools. They have no forward thinking. They don’t know that the liberals will wage such an effective campaign against the Saudi system of government to tire the hell out of it. The secret government thinks the Shias are the threat. Maybe Iran is; maybe not. I’m all eyes and ears to witness the next phase of the campaign against the Arab governments, but especially against the Saudi. It’ll aim to subjugate that country and all the Arabs. It’ll confirm my assessment.

That next phase (the liberal phase) should make the name of Dr. Matrouk al-Faleh or others like him more famous than that of Jesus. The liberals will adopt them, as well they should, but for the wrong reasons.

00 You seem to be against change, period.

00 I’m not. My heart goes to Dr. Matrouk al-Faleh and his family. He is an Arab nationalist, and my Arab persona is too. Dr. Al-Faleh is not only a reform activist; to me, more importantly, he is a bulwark against this ominous descent into tribalism which is being financed in good part by his government. I’m disgusted with what the harmful idiots have done to Arab Iraq, disintegrating it and reverting the Sunnis of that country to a state of tribalism -- all to achieve colonial ends. Let’s hope the Saudis aren’t torturing Dr. al-Faleh. They may not like him for calling for a constitutional monarchy. That’s their business. And likely the business soon of so many Western organizations which the liberals will unleash on the Kingdom. But Dr. Al-Faleh is, too, an Arab nationalist. And that’s the business of all Arabs.

Now that the harmful idiots have their peace of mind in Iraq, albeit precarious, having put all on the payroll and revived the Sunni tribes, and reached a modus operandi with Iran (or are on their way towards that), they’ll be moving their liberals wing sooner or later into Saudi Arabia. The Israelis will tell the Saudis, “Oh don’t worry, we can control our people, including the liberals, in the US.” But the liberal camp isn’t solely a Jewish camp. It has in it churches and civic organizations and law associations, and what have you. So I don’t think the Israelis can control the liberal camp. Once the cat is out of the box -- bingo: liberal America will bring in constitutional monarchy to Saudi Arabia , not Iran and not Dr. al-Faleh.

00 And they can reward their friends within the Kingdom.

00 Absolutely. These guys are such spies that they likely have tons of information on who’s who inside the Kingdom and the blackmailing points for each. The Saudi secret government has opened the door wide to the Israelis. That secret government is working closely with Arab-hating sectarian and ethnic groups who are agents of the Israelis -- Jumblatt's Druze, Lebanese Christians of the Lebanese Forces, Lebanese Sunnis on Hariri's pay and likely keeping a direct association with Israeli intelligence -- and those so hungry for a buck and therefore easy recruits of the Israelis/harmful idiots (Egyptians, Sudanese, Jordanians). (This is why, likely, Syria a few weeks ago refused to let Egyptian "reporters" enter its territory; they know they're hungry spies!) Syria, by holding on to Hezbollah, which the harmful idiots perceive as an obstacle to US bases in Iraq, has pushed Saudi Arabia into that unpleasant corner as an ally of Israel's, successfully. The Saudis want to please the harmful idiots and placate their own Shia population -- so they’ve taken on the war on Hezbollah. In that they found themselves allied to the Israelis.

The Saudi secret government through the groups mentioned above has opened the Kingdom's doors wide to Israeli intelligence. Israel's spy network already likely is impressive in the US. They can -- and highly likely are -- use the same groups to spy on Arabs in the United States and Arab-Americans. Likely, they can score with US intelligence by passing information on these to these services as Israel is one of the best traders of intelligence around. That network is expanding for Israel. A recent minor incident has gotten my imagination going: Could it be that Hariri, using the huge pool of money at his disposal -- both the money his late father made from Lebanon through government contracts (!) and the money from Saudi intelligence -- be spreading Hariri and allied youth around the US to mobilize the Lebanon diaspora? If he is, then I sure hope that he has a system to vet these since any Sunni groups can be infiltrated relatively easily by al-Qaeda cultist types. Worse, since Israel likely is making available its network for these young Hariri people, it would be hilarious, woudldn't it, if al-Qaeda types get so close to higher-ups in the US government.

In the absence of a pan-Arab ideology to dam Israel’s spying activity, the Kingdom belongs to Israel. The ball has been rolling ever since Iraq. The absence of a pan-Arab ideology has disintegrated the Arab World, Iraq-like.

00 But at least the Iranians have been dammed by the use of the Sunni wall.

00 No they’re not. The Iranians own the Palestine cause and that’s half of the battle. For one, that breaks Jordan’s back. Jordan’s population, both Jordanian Arabs and Palestinian Arabs, are all Sunni. The Palestinians are the majority. Jordan has no Shias. By owning the Palestinian cause Iran averts total mobilization of the Arab Sunnis of Jordan, both Palestinian and Jordanian, as an army in Iraq for the harmful idiots. Ingenious.

But Palestine is only half of the battle. The other half is in Iraq. If the Iranians are able to engineer a form of Arab Islamism that’s acceptable to them and that mends Shias and Sunnis -- then they’ll own most of that World. It isn’t an easy task for the Iranians. They wouldn’t want to lose the Badr/Dawa crowd. But they can wait until the harmful idiots transfer troops to Afghanistan. At some moment, when they judge the time propitious, they should allow the Sunni-Shia front to evolve, one that’s friendly to them. But they don’t dare do it now: too many U.S. troops in Iraq and hyper-preparedness. They know they have to tire out the U.S. and bleed it financially. For now, the Shia realm is their best bet. And the Palestine cause. But, sooner or later, they’d need the Shia-Sunni front. Especially if a Palestinian state is formed. If this happens, Iran would be dead meat if caught without a strong pro-Iranian Shia-Sunni front in Iraq.

00 Is it a race?

00 You bet it is, or it’ll soon be. The Arab Street is in that race, too. Because the Arab Street knows that its governments are incapable of adopting Arab nationalism, in good part because of their dependence on the US, and not wanting to upset Israel lest the Israelis unleash campaigns against them in the US. The Street therefore will go its own way. Likely it’s no longer crazy about the terror-minded Islamists because these have under-achieved and splintered further the Arab front. But that Street is boiling especially about Iraq, its disintegration, its status as an American-Israeli-Kurdish-Iranian plantation, and the presence on its Arab soil of occupying colonial troops allied to Israel. The Saudi secret government and, I suspect, our intelligence services, are funding Sunni Islamist groups and publications to absorb the Street’s frustration and pretend to represent its dreams. To keep that fictitious Sunni wall standing against Iran. But these are either ineffective or harmful and will come back to bite the Saudis and the harmful idiots in the ass. How: they’re so easy to infiltrate by those who are at the fringe and for whom the targets for terror involve the Kingdom itself and the United States. Get it?

00 What’ll the Street do?

00 Look: the sahwas in Iraq -- totally on the payroll of the harmfull idiots -- have been able to pull the rug from underneath the Muslim Brothers in the person of the Islamic Party. In other words, Arab Sunni forces that are more reactionary than the Muslim Brothers have been able to defeat these! Or at least become their equal. Which means that Islamism, as would be typified by the Muslim Brothers, is on the wane. The harmful idiots’ money is on tribalism, and so is the Saudi.

The more radical Islamists are and will be facing off with their own , mostly Sunni, like the Muslim Brothers such as found in the Iraqi Islamic Party, or the tribes, such as found in the sahwas -- all Sunni. What kind of “wall,” cracked and full of holes, against Iran is that?

Not to be sectarian, but this is total disintegration of the Arab Sunnis which the Saudi secret government (Bandar and Muqrin) is financing. This disintegration is bound to spill over into other countries around Iraq, including the Kingdom. Is it any wonder that Syria so fast caught on to a scheme by the Saudi secret government to fund at least one Sunni tribe in Syria? Odly, Syria did Saudi Arabia a favor when it blunted the Saudi payment to that tribe since it aborted an idiotic, self-destructive, and harmful scheme to further tribal-ize the Arab World, including disintegrating the Sunnis who would divide between tribe and Arab nationalism -- and possibly Islamism, too.

This disintegration and the reversion to tribalism is a direct result of Israel’s success at having America’s armies adopt its views of the Middle East. The Street will have to come up with an ideology that would counter Israel’s success.

00 And...

00 Likely the Arab Street will revert to Arab nationalism to stem disintegration and tribalism -- the goals of the axis of the US/Israel/Jordanian intelligence/Saudi intelligence. In other words, the Street should go the way of the proud Arab, the way of Dr. Matrouk al-Faleh. The Street will design its own Arab nationalist network across borders. In that it has a live example: It’ll emulate the Zionist network.

00 For instance:

00 You’ve worked across the Gulf, haven’t you?

00 Yes.

00 And you know a lot of foreigners who make a living from that world.

00 Many foreigners make a better living than the natives. Some Westerners I know were pulling in one-million dollar salaries for work which in their home countries would fetch them $150K, no more.

00 Were they pro-Arab?

00 They were drunkards. If any had a political view it’d been sympathetic to Israel.

00 Here you go. The Arab Street -- and I’m including the elite -- when it organizes around Arab nationalism, will shed these. The passive-aggressive way. Terror is for losers. One Westerner who is known to be anti-Arab should face people spitting to the ground when they see him. When a child in Lebanon, I’d see the Arab Lebanese ants do this to a man who left his family for another woman. It’s an incredibly effective punishment, I suspect, to keep up discipline among the ranks of men so that the production of for-export children remains solid, which benefits all the ants ("society"). Sooner or later that Westerner should stop leaving his house. He’ll get cabin fever. And suddenly he’ll leave and another Westerner would take his place. This one would be in the Arab camp, enthusiastically and wholeheartedly. He’d be one to patronize Arab art and send money to care for Palestinian and Lebanese children in an Arab version of the United Jewish Appeal. Little victories as this can go a long way in buttressing the Street’s ability to stem the descent into tribalism.

The Arab Street would be emulating Palestinian nationalism, which has been emulating Zionist nationalism, lock, stock and barrel. In other words, the new Arab nationalism will be a network a la Zionist network, to include the diaspora when one is present, which will work below the governments’ radar screen, mostly with tacit government approval, sometimes without. It’ll reward and punish. It’ll be in the bureaucracies all over -- from DMVs to customs to national security. Blair and Bush invade Iraq and contracts are delayed for British and American companies. Drafts of contracts disappear. Spitting to the ground becomes a national passtime. Refusal to serve Americans and Brits, the new colonialists and haters of Arabs, at private stores, spreads all over the Arab World. If an Israeli official visits the UAE and Qatar, ripe tomatoes would be the welcoming fruit of choice. This Arab nationalist network should have a lot of friends within the governing elite, including the royal elite in Saudi Arabia. It doesn’t threaten the established governments since it’s not calling for union among Arab countries; only for union among the Streets and a celebration of Arab history and culture.

And a readiness to come to the aid of fellow Arabs, be they Sudanese, Lebanese, Palestinian, or Egyptian.

OF OIL, WAR, AND LUST.

DOES CONDOLEEZZA RICE HAVE THE HOTS FOR A HANDSOME ARAB MAN AND IS THE CIA WAGING A SMEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST HER?

first and rough draft

OF OIL.

Baghdad opens its fields to Big Oil.

OF WAR.

Saudi King Abdallah alludes that his government’s allies (the United States and Israel) will soon put an end to the Islamic Republic. He is reported to have told one Arab daily, the Kuwaiti As-Siyasa, that “ [t]he hour of the dawn has come due for those who have wanted evil to Lebanon and the region. . . [t]he hour of their ghurub (dawn/disappearance) is approaching.” (assafir.com, July 2, 2008. My translation from Arabic.)

The Saudi King has meant by evil not only the Islamic Republic, but Hizbollah and Syria, too. Hizbollah is a Lebanese Shia guerrilla army and political party supported by Iran and Syria. In May Hizbollah took over West Beirut. This military take-over was swift and impressive. It resulted in the evacuation (by US helicopters dispatched from the Cole) from the Mediterranean city of hundreds of armed operatives. These had been dispatched to the Paris of the East by the US via Saudi, Jordanian, and Israeli intelligence. Their mission had been to boost the Seniora government militarily and to set the stage for attacks on Hizbollah’s rear lines.

Hizbollah recently broke its tradition of silence on matters related to Arab countries and warned Saudi Arabia (one mastermind of the various assaults on Hizbollah) that in the next confrontation Hizbollah will not, as it did in May, allow the Saudi ambassador to escape, albeit humiliated, from the Jewel of the Mediterranean. Heeding the warning, the Saudi government recently announced that its ambassador will not be returning to Phoenicia any time soon.

OF LUST.

In the meanwhile, al-Malaf.net (highly likely: Jordanian intelligence) reported on 6/29/08, quoting the daily al-Shuruq (Algeria) , that Condoleezza Rice is involved in a romantic relationship with an Arab and “very handsome” young man “[who] is way better [looking] than a woman of her [plain] looks can hope to land.” (My translation.) Al-Malaf further noted from al-Shuruq that the young man has the run of the Department of State when in Washington, D.C., and that he's able to go into parts of that Department that are not open to US citizens. Al-Malaf noted that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) got in on the act and warned Rice that the relationship should remain a secret because the young man is related to an Arab leader. The CIA's concern, it's alleged, is that "photos or positions" might compromise that Arab leader's "stand" or that of the White House.

OF A POSSIBLE SMEAR CAMPAIGN.

Jordanian intelligence could be waging a smear campaign against Rice on behalf of Israeli intelligence. Israel has never been fond of the US State Department since that Department has nearly always been less patient with Israel than other parts of the Executive Branch.

But what about the CIA? Could it be that the CIA, too, dislikes Rice so much as to allow Jordanian intelligence -- a total and unequivocal servant of the CIA -- (or possibly even prod it) to wage the smear campaign against her? It’s highly unlikely that Jordanian intelligence would go after Rice without the CIA’s approval.

Did the CIA approve of the smear campaign?
